Joseph David Broudo(1920-) graduated from Alfred with a degree in Ceramic Art and Design in the 1940's. Broudo taught at Endicott College, where he was the Director of the Art Program for over 48 years. He also taught during the summers at the Festival House School in Lenox, Massachusetts. Currently, he holds Professor Emeritus status at Endicott College. He has worked in various mediums such as enamel, painting and pottery. A portion of his exhibition record includes: Berkshire Museum, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, 1958; N.E. Craft Show, Boston Public Garden, Boston, Massachusetts, 1959; Festival House, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, 1960; Tryingham Art Galleries, Berkshire Hills, Massachusetts, 1963, 1969. He exhibited at the Nationals in 1946, 1950, 1952, 1954, 1956, 1960, 1962, 1964 and 1968. His work is in the Prieto Collection, Mills College, Oakland, California, as well as several private and public collections around the world.
